French-Inspired Pink & Gold Wedding at Bear Creek Manor, Athens GA

Share

Floral bouquet on antique chair soft peach and purple tones

Bear Creek Manor is a gorgeous  new venue located in Athens, GA. Sitting across from the lake and bracketed by large and beautiful trees, it is a fantastic Southern outdoor venue. To show off the beauty of the property, event and floral designer Jessie Patton of Southern Sophistication Designs, drew her inspiration from a french style and a swatch of Betsy Johnson fabric.
This shoot contains everything from a darling flower cat to pink lemonade martinis (recipe included!), and the whole day was classy from start to finish. See this pink and gold Athens wedding in even more detail in the full gallery here, captured by Andie Freeman Photography.

flower cat?

The bride wore a beautiful fit and flare nude gown designed by Mac Duggal and sold by High Maintenance Formalwear. The bridesmaids wore short, sequined royal blue gowns by Minuet also carried by High Maintenance Formalwear. The flower girl wore a hot pink and nude couture tutu dress with a birdcage, floral, and feather headpiece. Instead of carrying flowers down the aisle, the flower girl carried a flower adorned white dollface Persian kitten named Pillsbury! Isn’t he adorable?!??!?!!? The calm nature of Persians and dollface Persians make them a perfect addition to any event for cat lovers!

Shabby Chic Reception Ideas

The reception was placed under a white tent. The table was shabby chic, hand painted and accompanied by mismatched overstuffed chairs as well as a white bench. Tall, hot pink hydrangea arrangements were placed on either end of the table just under a white, shabby chic chandelier. In between the tall arrangements were short arrangements of hot pink roses with a pop of coral. The table was set with white china trimmed in gold on top of gold chargers. The escort cards were DIY garden pots with forks to hold each card. Our menu consisted of a starter salad of field greens with heirloom tomatoes, seedless cucumbers and shaved asiago topped with champagne vinaigrette. The main course was seven pepper crusted ahi tuna with prosciutto wrapped asparagus.
